Week 3 at AAC Camp
This past week was Week 3. During Week 3 we read the book Edward the Emu and learned cool facts about the interesting bird. We talked about different zoo animals and did some voting as we learned about the concept "best." We had a week exploring our senses. In Science we made DIY amplifiers to use to listen to music louder or to yell with our talkers. Cooking was a little different this week as we made homemade soap, talking about how we wanted the soap to smell, what color it would be, and the shape it would take (dinosaur, lego, or shapes). The campers had a blast making sensory jars in OT that looked, felt, smelled, and sounded really cool. We cannot believe that we are entering Week 4!
